High Velocity Systems

High velocity systems, such as SpacePak, are a great option where traditional ductwork is not an option.  SpacePak systems use low volume, high-velocity air and remove 30% more humidity than conventional central air systems.  That means you can set the thermostat a few degrees higher while still feeling cooler.  SpacePak systems use the concept of aspiration which uses air streams to create a gentle continuous mixing of air in a room to provide uniform comfort throughout your home. 

The SpacePak system is designed to blend in with your home’s décor and can often be installed within the existing framework without having to tear down walls.  SpacePak systems distribute air through 2 flexible ducts which allows these ducts to be fed through walls, ceilings, and floors to accommodate the unique layout of a home.  The compact air handler is small enough to fit in a closet, attic, basement, or crawlspace.  As with traditional air conditioning systems, the air handler is connected to a standard condenser outside your home.  For heating applications, the high-velocity system can be connected to a heat pump or boiler.
